Poetry is an imaginative awareness of experience expressed through meaning, sound and rhythmic language choices as to evoke an emotional response.
This year the Annual Primary English Elocution Competition (2019-2020) was held on 17th October 2019 in the School’s Assembly Hall. The Primary Section had once again this year selected themes for each elocution category. Group “A” recited poems on SEASONS and how each season is important for plants and animals found in different parts of the earth and how seasons can be enjoyed by us humans. Group “B” students elocuted poems on PATRIOTISM, the young virbaijeeitees portrayed their patriotism towards their homeland, the flag, Kashmiri brothers and of course their school and Group “C” students praised their alma mater on its 160th year by writing poems on BVS Parsi High School, themselves. These poems were a part of their English project held last month.
BVS is grateful to Ms. Humera Javed from the Hampton School Junior campus and Ms. Tayyaba Malwer from the Habib Public School Junior section for having spared their valuable time by coming to appraise our competitors.
