Elocution is not just about speaking, it is about captivating an audience, conveying emotions and inspiring change.
The Primary English Elocution Competition (2024-2025) was held on Tuesday 4th February 2025 in the school’s Assembly Hall. The competition was a celebration of the power of words, expression and eloquence as the incredibly talented participants came on the stage to showcase their oratory skills. Their words, informed, persuaded and entertained, proving that speech is a true art form.
The participants were segmented into three groups according to their classes.
Group “A” which comprised of Grades 1 and 2 This year Group “A” participants
added visual appeal to their poems by using props.
Group “B” comprised of Grades 3 and 4
Group “C” comprised of Grade 5 students who competed for the Navroji Ratanji
Wadia Primary English Elocution Shield.
The poems recited were on nature, family, teachers, friends, life, individuals, pets, some funny others thought provoking.
BVS is grateful to Ms. Sakina Imran from Habib Girls’ School and Ms. Rudaba Umair from the Mama Parsi Girls’ Secondary School for having spared their valuable time by coming to appraise our competition.
