BVS ACHIEVEMENTS
THE WORLD CHAMPIONS
- Syed Imaad Ali of 8E is the new World Champion of the Under-14 Age category. Imaad stood 4th in the whole world and dominated in the top 4 for three consecutive days. This is the best Performance by a current Virbaijeeite at the International level. This is the third consecutive world championship title for Imaad. He was the World Champion of the U-12 Category in 2016 and 2017.
- Muzammil Bin Asim of Grade 6-E is the New World Champion of the Under-12 Age category. He stood 12th in the World.
- Young Misbah ur Rehman of Grade 5-B is the New World Champion of the Under-10 age category. He finished at number 19th spot in the world.
- This is a Hat trick of U-10 and U-12 titles which BVS Scrabble players have won.
OTHER ACHIEVERS
- Monis Hussain Khan of Grade 6-E is the Runner-up of the U-12 title finishing at 22nd
- Mirza Taha Hassan of Grade 11-D stood 11th in the world.
- Virbaijeeite Hasham Hadi Khan finished at #13 spot and the Runner-Up of U-14 Category.
- Team Pakistan has clean swept at Torquay winning all 6 categories and 3 are from BVS. Last time BVS players achieved this fate was in 2016 in Lille, France.
- The World Champions and the Runner-up received shields, medals and Scrabble boards due to their outstanding effort.
- Team Pakistan has become the Junior World Scrabble Champion for the second consecutive time and the third time overall. The last time it lifted the trophy was in Nottingham, England in 2017.
