Drama Festival at BVS Parsi High School 2025

A great balance of one play in English and one in Urdu was showcased, to the delight of all who attended.

The secondary students of BVS delivered a fantastic performance of Noises Off, expertly bringing Michael Frayn’s farce to life with perfect comic timing and high-energy stagecraft. Directed by Miss Halima Brohi, the play’s chaotic backstage antics and fast-paced humor captivated the audience throughout. The students skilfully portrayed a dysfunctional theatre troupe, handling costume changes and mishaps with ease. Their dedication and enthusiasm created an unforgettable evening, leaving the audience applauding their impressive talent and hard work.

The Urdu play “Baa Adab Baa Naseeb” is written by Ms. Sabra Khan (Urdu Teacher) and directed by Mr. Mohsin Sarfaraz (Urdu Coordinator AKU / CAMB & Islamiat AKUEB ) & Ms. Sabra Khan.  featured witty dialogues that were thoroughly enjoyable, delivering a meaningful message at the end, that our elderly are esteemed for their wisdom and contributions to the Society. The guidance of elders is crucial for societal progress and reform. By showing respect and reverence to those who have come before us, we can learn from their experiences and wisdom, ultimately paving the way for success.

A big shout-out to those who selected and wrote the plays, coached the students, and the parents who offered their enthusiastic support. Of course, thanks to everyone who played a part in bringing the drama festival to life!
