AT CHESS OLYMPICS GAMESThe Chess Olympics Games were held on 21st September, 2024 at the Karachi Sports Club from 9:30 am till 3:30 pm. 17 players participated in U12, U18 and U15 categories.
BVS Achievements
Arsh Farooq of 8-E stood 2nd in the U15 Age Category. Arsh won 5 out of 6 games. He received a medal.
Mohit Kumar of 10-C stood 3rd in the same Category. He also won 5 games. He received a medal.
Zohaib Jawwad 8-D, Daniyal Jawwad of 10-E. D and Shaheer Khan of 9-D stood 5th, 7th and 9th respectively.
BVS Dominated this category as 5 players took spots in top 10 players.
In U-18, Muhammad Aazim Salman of 10-E stood 7th.
Debutants Muneeb of 10-C stood 15 in U18 and Aroon Kumar 11th in U15 Age Category.
In U-12 there were two players, Shaheer Rizvi of 4-B and Muhammad Yameen of 6-B. They did well.
There were participants from all over Karachi and BVS Chess players displayed exception Chess board tactics which resulted in our victory.
The closing ceremony will be held on next Saturday at the same venue.
