BVS 165 years Celebration Exhibition 2024

This year, BVS Parsi High School marked a momentous occasion—-its 165th anniversary. To celebrate this incredible milestone, BVS hosted a grand school exhibition on Friday 1st November and Saturday 2nd November, 2024 at the school premises that brought together students, parents, teachers and the wider community.

This exhibition highlighted the outstanding talents and creativity of our students.

The theme of the exhibition Power of Ideas Transforming Concepts into Reality” spread across various zones.

Here’s a glimpse into the exhibition-

  1. ART & CREATIVITY CORNER– which was a vibrant space bursting with colour, imagination and self expression highlighting the passion for arts that thrives within our school community. A fashion show entertained the audience and added a touch of glamour and creativity and received enthusiastic applause.
  1. 2. SCIENCE & INNOVATION ZONE / MATHS IN ACTION: This was an exciting hands-on area dedicated to curiosity and problem solving. Students presented impressive projects with renewable energy models to interact with maths puzzles.

 

  1. THE FUSION FOOD CORNER (AKUEB PROJECT BASED LEARNING): was a culinary adventure zone that delighted visitors with unique flavours, combining ingredients and techniques to create something entirely new and delicious.
  1. THE POSTAL ART EXHIBIT: was a charming tribute to the art of letter writing. Visitors were inspired by the personal touch behind each exhibit reflecting the timeless art of connecting through letters.
  1. 5. LUNGS IN MOTION: visually demonstrated how the lungs work emphasizing the importance of respiratory health.
  1. MATHS MEET ART: Poetic Calculations explored the beauty of mathematics through poems. It inspired everyone to see that maths is not just numbers but a language of beauty and expression.
  1. FAITHS TOGETHER – A JOURNEY THROUGH RELIGIONS exhibit was a meaningful exploration of BVS’s four religions, Zoroastrianism, Hinduism, Islam and Christianity and their shared values of compassion, peace and respect. This inclusive space encouraged appreciation and unity emphasizing the common threads that connect all faiths and promote a message of mutual respect and harmony.
  1. THE WORLD OF WORDS, DISCOVERING LANGUAGE IN A CHILD’S LIFE, was a celebration of Language, showcasing students’ cherished memories of the school through projects.
  1. THE MAGIC OF MATHS EXHIBIT, was an engaging journey into the wonders and mysteries of mathematics with shapes, time-telling and mathematical formulas that made visitors explore how math is woven into everything around us.

Lastly, THE DIGITAL ZONE was a cutting-edge exhibit showcasing the latest in technology, coding and digital innovation. Students presented projects on artificial intelligence, game development, robotics and digital art revealing how digital skills can open doors to endless possibilities in our rapidly evolving world.

Together, BVS created a celebration that will always be remembered. A big thank you to all our amazing students, supportive parents and dedicated staff members.
