As part of the ongoing celebrations for the school’s 160 years BVS Parsi High School showcased an Art, Craft and Design Exhibition on 23rd and 24th August, 2019.
Artist Jimmy Engineer who is the pride of Pakistan, acclaimed artist and an ardent humanitarian, inaugurated the exhibition on 23rd August, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. Members of the Managing Committee, Heads of different schools of Karachi, guests, students, staff were present at the inauguration.
As it was an interactive exhibition lots of Art, and Craft things were put up where the visitors needed to participate in the activities.
As Jimmy Engineer went around, he asked questions to the students and enquired about the different techniques they experience in art classes and how they express themselves.
The Principal Mrs. Kermin Parakh welcomed him and thanked all those who put up the exhibition and helped out.
Jimmy Engineer in his address said that he was standing in a prestigious school where he has witnessed young talent that will make the future of Pakistan bright and make Pakistan a great country to reckon with. He was presented a commemorative plaque by the Chairman of the Managing Committee of the school Mr. Mehelli Dinshaw as appreciation for taking out time from his busy schedule to be with the students and staff and encouraging them.
The exhibition continued with students and staff of other schools coming and viewing it and also for students, parents, guests and visitors on Saturday 24th August, 2019.
