Emergencies are a norm in Pakistan and schools have been exposed to emergency situations. Schools have a responsibility to ensure that students and staff members are kept safe. For this purpose, BVS sent 20 members including teachers, students, lab assistants, and caretaker staff members to AKU Hackathon 2020. These members were divided into three teams. They attended a 3-day workshop followed by competition in which three most innovative ideas were to be awarded. One of the teams from BVS stood 2nd in this competition.
