On Monday 23rd May, 2022 the BVS family celebrated the school’s 163rd orbit round the sun with zeal and fervor. Two past Virbaijeeites (batch of 1989),Mr. Amir Rasool Paracha CEO Unilever and Mr.
Yousuf Siddiqui CEO Engro Vopak joined in the celebration on the sultry morning with the school band playing the National Anthem, School Song and then the birthday song.
Prayers for school’s prosperity were offered first by a Zoroastrian Priest, Er. Farzin Yazeshani, followed by Zaigham Abbas of Grade 8 D who recited from the Holy Quran, Rishit Kumar of Grade 9 D recited the Gayatri Mantra from the Bhagvat Gita and lastly our young Christian student Abner Othniel of Grade 2 C prayed for the school’s prosperity from the Holy Bible.
A magic and juggling show organized by the BVS Management, was thoroughly enjoyed by both students and staff. Each student and whole staff was treated to a yummy Cornetto cone by CEO Unilever Mr. Amir Rasool Paracha.
Later on the students had their own class party.
BVS is thankful to Mr. Amir Rasool Paracha for the ice cream treat on the hot humid day and also to a Primary mum who lovingly baked chocolates balls for staff and students of her son’s class. A big thank you to our beloved parents who sent in a box full of the famous Khalifa Nan Khatai and to all who sent us birthday messages on social media, emails and through cards.
