TRIUMPHANT TEAM PAKISTAN
The World Youth Scrabble Championship was held in Sri Lanka from 4th-6th September,2024. 22 countries participated in it. 7 Virbaijeeites were part of the National Team out of 15 players. Team Pakistan has won the World Championship for the 5th Time.
BVS Achievements
- Muhamamd Bilal Asher of 8-E became the World Champion ? of the Under 14 Age Category. He received a Trophy ?. This is Bilal’s second World Championship ? he finished at 6th place in the World with 16 wins. Bilal Asher’s title is the 25th World Championship ?? Title won by BVS Parsi High School.
- Aehzam Ahmed Siddiqui of 9-D finished at 10th place in the World with 15 wins. He received a Trophy ?.
- Zayan Zaman Khan of 8-E received a Trophy ? for the highest One Word Scored in the tournament (176 points).
- Syed Maaz Hasan Faridi of 9-C finished at 18th place in the World. He received the winning team’s Certificate.
- Three Virbaijeeites finished in the top 20 players. 2 Virbaijeeites in the top 10.
- Syed Musaab Hasan Faridi of 5-A finished 117th. He received the winning team’s Certificate.
