News Letter July 2023 to December 2023

Dear Parents & Guardians,

By the grace of Almighty the second term for the academic year 2023 ended gloriously.  As we roll into the first term of the new academic year.  The school will once again try its best to complete its set of goals in academics, sports & co-curricular activities.

14th August is a day to recall the sacrifices made to earn freedom for our country. The four houses depicted the positive image of our Pakistan Airforce, National Army, Rangers of Pakistan & Pakistan Navy.” Mein Hoon Pakistan” was the theme for all the houses to perform on. Results are Soparivala House 1st, Quaid-e-Azam House 2nd, Lancelot House 3rd & Rezashah House 4th.

The 35th National Scrabble Championship was held on 18-20th August 2023 at the Generations School. Hassan Hadi Khan (2015) became the National Scrabble Champion, Monis Hussain Khan of 11-D 6th Best Pakistani player, Aehzam Ahmed Siddiqui 8th, Bilal Asher 17th place.

We had the primary Urdu Elocution on September, 20, 2023.  In group A.  Muhammad Zaid Ali of 2-A stood first and took the Naoroji, Ratanji Wadia Primary Elocution Shield.  Muhammad Zayyan Siddiqui of 1-A & Moosa Hammad-ul-Haq of 2-B stood second.  Muhammad Saad of 1-C, Syed Mutajiz Hussain of 2-A & Muhammad Ibad Tahir of 2 – C stood 3rd.  In group B Mohammad Farhan Mutalib of 3-C & Adnan Asad of 4-A stood first.  Muhammad Hamdan khan of 3-B Muhammad Abdul Hadi Paracha of 3-B, Moeen Ahmed Khan of 3-B, Turab Haider of 4-C & Mohammad Abdul Abdul Haider of 4-C & Muhammad Mazz Hussain of 4-C stood Second Muhammad Abdullah Asim of 3-C, Mirza Mudaasir Hassan Ahmed of 4-C  stood 3rd.  In group C Muhammad Utba of 5-B stood first, Syed Saadullah Jilani of 5-A & Muhammad Ayan Khan Lodhi of 5-C stood second.  Syed Zain Mehdi Imam Naqvi of 5-B and Abdullah Shahid of 5-C stood third.

The Secondary Annual Urdu Elocution was held on September 26, 2023.  Abdul Hafeez of 7-C stood first in the D category.  Arham Khan of 6-E stood second & Sheikh Muhammad Hamza of 6-C stood third.   In group E. Muhammad Ahmed of 8-B stood first.  Aizam Salman of 9-E & Wajih Mohsin Naqvi of 8-D took Azaan Shabbir and Muhammad Abaan Usmani of 9-B stood 3rd .  in group F. Syed Jarri Abbas Rizvi of 10-D took the first position & the Ibne – Insha shield Muhammad Rayyan Mutalib of 10-B & Muhammad Ahmed of 10-D took the 2nd position. Muhammad Bilal Akmal of 10-A & Muhammad Sarim Zahid of 10-D took the 3rd position.

The Primary English Elocution held on Thursday 26th October, 2023. Nature, family, teachers, friends, life, individuals, pets, some of which were funny others thought provoking. Ms. Eugene Pereira and Ms. Rubina Khemani were the chief guest. The Naoroji Ratanji Wadia Primary English Elocution Shield went to Syed Saadullah Jilani 5-A.

The Annual Prize Distribution took place on Sunday 05, November, 2023.  Dr. Syed Junaid Ali Shah was the chief guest.  He awarded prizes to around 305 students.  This year Miss Sanober from the Aga Khan Board was honored for her 25 years of service.  The Cockhouse for the year 2022 – 2023 was the Rezashah house.

Annual Sports Day was held on Saturday 25th November, 2023 at the Karachi Parsi Institute Ground. Mr. Azdiar Homee Mobed was the chief guest. The House Points are as follows: Lancelot House 121, Quaid-e-Azam House 121, Soparivala House 110 & Rezashah House 108.

The school had organized a visit to the Special Children School at Karsaaz for grades 8 ABCD&E.  This visit held great significance in fastening empathy, compassion and understanding among our students.  This unique opportunity allowed our students to engage and learn from the special children.

The school arranged a captivating trip for grades 6 ABCD&E to the Quaid-e-Azam House Museum and Mohatla Palace Museum on December 19, 2023.  This educational excursion offered a unique opportunity for our students to delve into the rich history and cultural heritage of our nation,

Grade 1 snowflakes from Ice-cream sticks, sandwich making, Alice in Wonderland movie & visit to Zoo Garden, Grade 2 Christmas tree with palms and also made vegetable salad & Grade 3 origami Santas and also made delicious fruit salad. Grade 4 had their morning snacks at the Frere Hall & Grade 5 had a breakfast at Shaheed Benazir Bhutto park, Clifton. Grades 1/2/3 were given their mid-term results on 20th December, 2023.

The school arranged a field trip for classes 7 ABCD&E to the Ajrak factory, Bhit Shah, Sind Museum and Hala Handi Craft this educational trip enhanced the knowledge of our students about our culture.  The term ended with the result & Party Day in June 2023.  All went home happy and with big smiles on their face.

Hoping to meet new challenges in the coming term and facing them with a big smile on our face and a thankfulness to the Almighty.
