Friendship House Chess Tournament was held on 4th February, 2024 and our Virbaijeeites excelled in it. Arsh Farooq of 7-D secured First position and Maadhav Kumar of 7-A secured third position in the U-12 age Category. Mohit Kumar of 9-C secured Second position in the U-16 age Category.
The 5th Scrabble Ranking Tournament was at BVS Parsi High School on 18th February, 2024. Mubashir Naseem of 8-A stood 3rd in the Recreational Category. Aehzam Ahmed Siddiqui of 8-E and Muhammad Bilal Asher of 7-E stood 9th and 10th respectively in the Master’s Category.
The Inter-School Chess Tournament (U-12 and U-17)* Categories was held at the NJV School on 28th and 29th February, 2024. Arsh Farooq of 7-D stood 2nd and Zohaib Jawwad of 7-E stood 3rd in the U-12 age Category. Daniyal Jawwad of 9-E stood 2nd in U-17 Age Category. The winners received Shields and cash prizes respectively. Our other achievers were: Shaheer Khan of 8-D, Yahya Moin 8-D, Muhammad Aazim Salman of 8-E, Syed Muhammad Omer 8-A, Aayan Aijaz 7-E, Abdul Hadi 7-C and Yogesh Haryani 8-B.
