The Primary Section of BVS Parsi High School had their English Project Day on Friday 16th September 2022.
“School Projects can give students the opportunity to dive deeper and challenge themselves in an academic area and also acquire knowledge in a hands-on creative way.
GRADE 1
Grade 1 A/B/C students made BVS Primary Passports where in they stamped Rejected on the areas of the school which are restricted for them and Approval on areas where they are allowed.
GRADE 2
Grade 2 A/B/C students drew a BVS family tree with information and pictures of a few BVS family members like Principal, Primary Headmistress, Administrator, Class Teacher, Subject Teachers and Care takers. Thus learning the importance of each member of the BVS family.
GRADE 3
Grade 3 A /B/ C students composed their own fables by using their imagination. Their fable books also consisted of illustrations and pictures. It was really interesting to read different imaginative fables of our young writers.
GRADE 4
Its indeed interesting to know what happened on our birth date students of Grade 4 A/B/C collected information on events like sports, birthdays of famous people, pop culture, innovations, world events etc that happened on their birth date or year and made an impressive 4-panel Accordian Fold booklet to record the same.
The learning goal of this writing activity was to organize students’ thoughts and make them aware of the world they live in together with developing critical thinking skills.
GRADE 5
Why does a school have its own magazine? What are the things one keeps in mind while writing for a school magazine? These were the learning goals for Grade 5 A/B/C students for their project “ Our School Magazine”. Students were divided into groups and each member of the group covered different tasks like cover page, poetry section, teachers interviews, school activities, riddles, puzzles, articles on covid period and online classes to compile their own school magazine making them feel confident in organizing their thoughts and in expressing critical thinking skills in their articles.
