This year the Primary English Project theme was “160 YEARS OF BVS PARSI HIGH SCHOOL”. The goal of this project is to make the students get to know their school, staff, environment, co curricular activities and be able to write about the same.
Students of Grades 1A/B/C made a scrap book comprising of photos and information about the school, the founder, the four houses of the school , the logo along with motto, the Principal and the areas frequently visited by Grade 1 students.
Students of Grades 2A/B/C made a booklet in the shape of a flower comprising of photos and write up of different events of the school during the year 2018-19 like Independence Day function, English/Urdu Elocution Competitions, Sports Day, Primary Concert Beauty & the Beast and 160 years celebration function.
A collage frame of images related to primary students access to areas at BVS, like Art Hall, Canteen, Music Room, Primary Library, Primary Computer Lab, Assembly Hall, etc.,was made by students of Grade 3A/B/C after which they filled an activity sheet on “My space at school”.
A Commemorative Stamp honoring the school for completing 160 years journey portraying elements, changes that took place in the journey. The students also wrote the history of the school and composed a quotation of their own for the school’s 160 years celebration.
Students of Grades 5A/B/C created their own school song with rhythm and sang the same confidently in front of their class.
